About Us

Marble Hill Spring Water is located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills rich produce growing area behind Norton Summit – 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.

The land was highly regarded for producing some of South Australia’s lushest fruit orchids; in particular Cherries. It wasn’t until 1986 that Marble Hill began to package the water from the free flowing spring, despite the idea from the wider community that packaging water at that time was considered ridiculous. Knowing how good the water was and the reputation it had from the locals they persisted and are now one of South Australia’s largest producers of bulk packed spring water. Having won an award for one of Australia’s quality top ten spring waters is testimony to that.

Brief History

The spring was discovered early in the the 1900’s by woodcutters. So good was the taste that it was sought after by locals and was considered by many to have medicinal qualities. It wasn’t until much later when the Sorrenti family started to make the water available on the wider market that this reputation grew with many Naturopathic and Health Food outlets stocking only Marble Hill Spring Water. This alone gives testimony to the quality of water that is produced from the natural spring. Almost 30 years on on this reputation remains the same today.
